Eric Raisina
Designer Eric Raisina’s exquisite handmade collection is a blend of African, European and Asian influences. Originally from Madagascar, Eric Raisina trained in Paris and developed his own unique style merging materials from Asia and Africa to create thrilling pieces of texture and color. His innovative work with woven raffia, silks, layering of organza, and his famous “silk fur” make him truly a master of “haute texture.” His signature textiles have not gone unnoticed on the haute couture runways, and he has collaborated with such designers as Christian Lacroix and Yves Saint Laurent. Every one of his pieces is unique, with exquisite luxurious textures, and silk weaving and special dyeing techniques that make his clothing, scarves, and bags irresistible.
